Data Recovery Sucks, Why I Haven’t Posted, and Upcoming Site Changes.
Data recovery sucks. I’m not joking, and anybody out there who has had to do it will know what I’m talking about.
To make a long story short. Last week I came very close to losing every photo I’ve ever taken. I’m still digging myself out of the hole I jumped into. Everything should wind up safe. But it isn’t yet, and I’ll be an a continual state of stress until it is. The ironic part was that I messed it up, while, I was setting up my new backup system. Not good.
This my dear readers/listeners is why there has not been a episode of The Photo Breakfast Show. One will be coming soon I promise. (After I have my photos safe and sound)!
As for the upcoming site changes. As of now, all I’ll say is that I’m planning on merging this website, with my other site thomasflight.net the netager domain will go away (forward to thomasflight.net) and the podcast and blog will live on thomasflight.net.
I’ll talk more about why soon. But I hope to have the complete by early 2011.
